The areas on the Guava trade page are:

a. Trade header
b. Trade pairings
c. Price chart
d. Order forms
e. Order books
f. Open orders
g. My trades
h. Recent trades

a. Trade header
This shows the user a summary of information about their current trade pairing selection.

The image above shows the BTC/NGN pairing along with price, change and volume.

b. Trade Pairings
This shows the market pairs and their respective information available on the exchange at any given moment.

c. Price chart
The price chart shows you the movement of price over a selected period of time. On the Guava price chart you can select from the available views and period options.

At default, your chart view is set to Area View and 1 day period.

d. Order forms
This is where you place your buy or sell order. Your orders here can either be market or limit order. For your market order, the order is executed immediately from the order book at the current market price. After the order has been executed, you will see it listed under My Trades.

For limit orders, you are quoting your own price and when your order is submitted, it is listed under Open Orders until it is executed, after which it is moved to My Trades.

e. Order books
The Order book shows a list of limit orders available on the exchange. The bids are buys orders while the asks are sell orders. A transaction occurs when there is a price match between the bids and the asks.

The order book is updated in real time when new entries, changes or transaction occurs.

f. Open orders
This displays all your submitted orders that are yet to be executed.

Please note that while your orders are still listed here, you can still cancel them.

g. My trades
This shows you all your executed and cancelled orders on Guava.

h. Recent trades
This is where you can view all the completed trades on the selected trade pairing on Guava.
